About Mulligan Records

Mulligan is one of the iconic labels in Irish music. Co-founded in 1975 by instrumentalist Dónal Lunny after he left the band Planxty, the label’s catalog of around 50 titles includes several classics of traditional Irish music, all of which became the cornerstone releases of the Green Linnet label when they were issued under license to the label in the ‘80s. The catalog includes pivotal releases by The Bothy Band, Matt Molloy, Andy Irvine & Paul Brady, Tommy Peoples, Kevin Burke, Frank Harte and Dolores Keane & John Faulkner.
